01 / THE FOUNDATIONS
A small town. A world of possibilities.
Every building has a purpose. Every decision shapes your future. Choose your path and give your town room to grow.
FROM A FIRST HOME TO A THRIVING TOWN
NEW TO CITY STRATEGY? START HERE
You are the ruler. Begin with your first town.
TOWNBORAN is a browser strategy game where you shape life inside your walls and decisions beyond them. Establish resources, assign workers, prepare an army and choose whether to cooperate or compete with your neighbours. Orders take real time and continue while you are away.
01
A town grows through production
Start with gold, lumber and iron. Buildings need assigned workers to produce a steady supply. Add a barn to produce food and a granary to store it. Buildings can be upgraded to level 5, improving production, capacity or their particular function.
02
An army needs more than numbers
Build an academy and workshops to unlock buildings, then train at the barracks. Basic weapons arrive with the troops, with materials included in training. Improve weapons after you have troops. Units differ in speed, loot capacity and food use. Prepare camp space and enough food before marching.
03
Read the world. Choose your path.
Select a town on the map to see its owner and alliance. Send a message to start a partnership, or send scouts before planning an attack. Raids bring back supplies according to survivors’ carrying capacity. Convoys deliver resources between towns. Travel depends on distance and the slowest unit in the group.
YOU WILL NOT START ALONE
Let Bua guide your first steps.
Bua highlights the next control, explains why it matters and follows what you actually complete. An eligible first town receives founding reserves, delivered as storage becomes available, and milestone gifts for production, food and your first guards. Pause or reopen the guide whenever you like.
RESOURCES
Gold, lumber, iron and rations build your town, equip units and feed the army. Your town produces them.
GEMS
The store currency for cosmetics and time boosts, subject to the conditions shown before use. Gems and production resources are separate balances.
A SEASON HAS A FINALE
A standard season lasts 84 days, giving you time to establish a town before winter. That season’s towns and quests lead toward restoring the beacon and facing the final dragon.
02 / A BOND IN THE VALLEY
Even the greatest legend begins with a little egg.
A mysterious egg from the beacon ruins is waiting for your care. Prepare its nest, watch it hatch and raise a dragon companion of your own.

Choose your path.
Citadel of the Dawn
Aurelia
Heirs to the beacon’s stonewrights, Aurelians build for the generations ahead. Golden roofs and dawn banners promise that the last light will endure.
For a balanced start: 5,000 each of gold, lumber and iron, with 100 equipment space.
A good first approachAurelia has strong base lumber production. Establish all three resource sources, then use that lumber to support workshops and barracks while keeping gold and iron in balance.
Keepers of woodland paths and caravan roads, the Verdan shelter their towns beneath the canopy. Well-stocked stores and trusted neighbours are their answer to winter.
For resource planners: 6,000 of each core resource, balanced by 80 starting equipment space.
A good first approachVerdan starts with larger resource stores and strong base gold production. Establish all resource sources, then keep lumber and iron for town growth and troop training, which already includes basic weapon materials.
Settlers of the cold highlands, the Ironveil forge iron and discipline into a common defence. Slate roofs and crimson banners stand against the storm at the edge of the dark.
For iron-production and resource planners: 4,000 of each core resource and 150 equipment space. Establish production carefully.
A good first approachIronveil has strong base iron production with smaller starting resource stores. Establish a complete production base and use founding reserves carefully. Train troops with their basic weapons, then invest surplus iron in weapon improvements.
The beacon fell silent beneath an ash-grey sky. A small settlement survived — and beneath the broken stones, a dragon’s egg still held its warmth.
You lead the survivors home: open mines, raise a market and gather a defence. Three civilizations search for the lost light. Along the border, their scouts agree on one thing: this storm carries more than snow.
The Ashen Sovereign is waking. Armies from the frozen frontier advance on every town. Trade, build alliances or risk your army for supplies before the storm arrives. The egg in your care may become the companion that changes the realm’s fate.
Across an 84-day season, restore the beacon, survive the winter siege and defeat the Sovereign in the final chapter. Return the light in time for victory. If the season closes first, winter claims the realm — and those who stood firm are remembered for the next dawn.
No. Resource production and queued work continue while you are away. Optional NPC encounters are available; end-of-season winter waves reach every town with advance warning.
How do I start if others joined earlier?
Begin with your first town and new-player protection. Establish production and food before raiding, choose NPC encounters suited to your strength, and talk to alliances about mutual defence. Check the season day and administrator announcements: major end-of-season events follow the world’s shared schedule.
Does a dragon help immediately after hatching?
Each player has one companion in the main town. Care and train it in stages using main-town supplies. Secondary towns receive no additional egg. Dragon bonuses reduce time and resources only for new main-town training. Flights unlock through growth and mastery, with reports sent to Inbox. The opening is a montage; in-game care follows every stage.
Can I play on my phone?
